It was October 6th, 1973. A year that continues to ring hymns and symphonies in the minds and hearts of Egyptians, nationwide. In that Ramadan War, Egypt’s Ground Forces, Air Force, Naval Forces, and Air-Defense Forces united in a common faith. “Our martyrs have written with their blood the most glorious page in our modern history, a precious and strong victory, and Egypt’s flags flew over the precious land of Sinai. God is great.”
For the love of Sinai, and for the love of Egypt, which family didn’t raise a cry for a martyred father, brother, or son?
Celebrating our great victory, the Arabic Department presents a moving commemoration, in the morning lines, to pass on the pride carried by one generation to the next.
