At NIS, we are preparing our students to be future leaders. Strong leaders must have good communication skills, so we have enrolled all of our American high school students in the Generation Global dialogue program. With this program, students research and discuss a topic as a class, then engage in video-conferences and asynchronous discussions where they develop their communication
And critical thinking skills.
During the the past month, our students engaged in dialogues with high school students from the United States, Ukraine, Palestine, Jordan, Italy, Indonesia, and England. They discussed issues such as women’s rights, peace and reconciliation, extremism, and community.
The students’ dialogue skills have impressed the program leaders so much that we have already been classified as advanced among schools around the world. We are really proud of our students and are sure they are on the right path to become the future leaders of this great nation.
