There is nothing unforgettable and inspirational like watching your lovely students reaping the fruits of their 3 – month preparations for one of the Shakespearean great tragedies, the masterpiece; “Macbeth”.
This is a project that fostered social skills such as cooperation, team work, respect, self-esteem, independence, a growing sense of responsibility and commitment; all are life skills that prepare students to real life experiences.
Today was the day when all the student-made hard work came up to the light surrounded by their joy of success and the pride of their parents and teachers. “They have made it”.
This is a pure project crafted by the students of Prep. 2A: They selected “Macbeth” to perform and represent live on stage. They decided to act out the whole complete work without taking snapshots from the scenes; a thing that made the task harder, but yet more challenging. They chose the script, did their own dramatization, wrote backstage directions, selected decoration and accessories, designed PowerPoint Presentation, and decided on the music.
This is the spirit we aim to spread in NIS: a generation of talented and open-minded students who are mature and responsible enough to accomplish their targets. They vowed to make the performance a success and they really made it.
