Our Services are used by students who are minors.

  • We collect and process children’s data for legitimate educational purposes only, and on the basis of parental/guardian consent and our contract to provide schooling.
  • Children’s data is not used for advertising or profiling, and is not knowingly shared with third parties except as needed to deliver educational services or as required by law.
  • Student accounts and features are configured to be age-appropriate.
  • A parent or guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s data by contacting us (Section 16). We will act on such requests subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.

Facebook note: we do not direct advertising to children, and Meta advertising/analytics tools (Section 7) are used only on our public marketing pages — not inside student-facing areas of the Services.

5. How We Use Your Information

To: enrol and manage students; deliver educational services; process admissions; communicate with parents and staff; process payments; ensure safety and security; run and improve the Services; and comply with legal obligations. On our public/marketing pages we also use it to measure and improve outreach (see Sections 7–8).

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its implementing regulations, relying on one or more of: consent; performance of a contract (enrolment); compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate educational interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (Section 13).

7. Facebook & Meta Platforms

Keep only the sub-sections that reflect tools you actually use; delete the rest.

  • Facebook Login (if used in the app): lets you sign in with your Facebook account. We receive only the profile fields you approve; we do not post to your account.
  • Meta Pixel / Conversions API (website marketing pages): helps us measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. It is not deployed in student portals.
  • Lead / contact forms on Facebook: data you submit is used to respond to your enquiry about admissions or services.
  • Social plugins & pages: interacting with our Facebook page is also governed by Meta’s own Privacy Policy, which we do not control.

You can manage ad and tracking preferences in your Facebook settings and via the cookie controls in Section 8.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, and analytics/marketing. You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner and your browser settings.

9. How We Share Information

We share personal data only with: service providers (hosting, payments, communications) under confidentiality obligations; authorities where legally required; and Meta, limited to the marketing interactions above. We do not sell personal data.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal, academic-record, and regulatory requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

11. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted staff access) appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including children’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to incidents.

12. International Data Transfers

Some providers may process data outside Egypt. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with Law 151/2020.

13. Your Rights

Subject to Egyptian law, you may request to: access your data; correct it; delete it; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and be informed about how it is used. For children’s data, a parent or guardian may exercise these rights. To make a request, contact us (Section 16). You also have the right to complain to Egypt’s data protection authority.

14. Third-Party Links

Our Services may link to external sites (including Facebook). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.
