A Message From The Admission Team

For years, Sir Ken Robinson has talked about shifting the paradigm in schools from a rigid, batch-based system, to something better. One that sheds away the classification process to allow children to thrive at their own pace, but no one was bold enough to do it. Recently, however, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Australia and other nations have taken the leap of faith on the basis of real-world needs and academic research. Like these other nations, Egypt has a desire to be a leader of the future. We, too, suffer from the effects of soaring unemployment rates and a severely lacking public education system. For these reasons, more and more families in Egypt turn to private education. We as an admissions team recognize the importance of choosing the best school for your child. At NIS, we understand that Egypt’s geo-political location in the world is very different from that of the West and Asia, our current economy is nowhere near as strong, and our current public educational system does not serve as a solid foundation to build upon. NIS subscribes to the educational philosophy of respect for the individuality of each student. We spare no effort to provide educators of the highest caliber from within and without Egypt. We strive to build an environment that is both physically and emotionally safe for each child. Through best-practice and internationally recognized learning methods, we provide a rigorous curriculum integrated with real-world experiences. In the spirit of diverse prospects, we, at NIS, offer the following systems of education to support each student’s needs: American System; British System; National English System; and National French System. All in 3 different campuses (1st Settlement, Sherouk City, and Nasr City) I encourage you to spend some time touring the Website to gain a more detailed understanding of what we have to offer both inside and outside of the classroom. To find out more about each of the specific academic programs offered at NIS, please click on the “Schools” icon in the header. Feel free to contact us for an appointment to come and tour the school so that you may meet many of the outstanding members of our community who help define and inspire the NIS experience.
